Hanafor Dual Champions:
'Hanafor' is proud to have to its name 13 Dual
Champions (three of these dogs have gone on to become Australian
Triple Champions of which there is only four. All of these
dogs are owner titled. Unfortunately, we are missing a
photo of Dual Ch Hanafor Vitez Tobias owned by Warren & Kerry
McKay (Qld)
These Dual Champions consist of combined
championships of Conformation, Obedience and/or Field Trials.
The criteria for a Dual Champion has changed
over the years. Initially a Dual Champion was just that, a
dog with a Conformation title and two disciplines - tracking
being included in the Obedience champion title.
Tracking Champion has now been removed and made
a separate title. Obedience Champion now consists of a
number of first placings in Utility class after the UD title has
been obtained. Under these rules, some of the older Dual
Champion dogs would in fact, be classed as Triple Champions
today.
ALL of these dogs and their owners
deserve recognition.
One owner in particular Anne Salisbury has achieved Dual
Champion Status with FIVE Vizslas and is now working on her
first Wirehaired Vizsla.
